RULES &
REGULATIONS

There will be a $1.00 entry fee per goat
-
CT.
Goats must have a USDA - approved identification and a health certificate issued
within 60 days of their first show from an accredited veterinarian stating that
the animals are in good health and not showing signs of infectious, contagious
and/or communicable diseases and not from scrapie-exposed herds.

All
exhibitors must wear show whites whenever animals are being shown.
-
All
animals must have been owned by exhibitor by July 1, 2006 with the exception of
kids born into exhibitor’s herd. No animal under one month old may be shown,
-
Age of
animals will be determined as of date of show. Exhibitor’s age will be
determined as of January 1st,
2007.

Exhibitors must furnish own feed, hay and bedding.
-
All
exhibitors must send a copy of health papers.
-
Goats
must be entered in Junior or Senior departments, not both.
-
Where
there is no competition, the judge will award ribbons and prize money as he or
she sees fit.
-
No more
than 12 Goats per farm or family.
-
Entries
will be closed after all pens are filled.
