Fair, Inc is pleased to announce that, starting this year, we will
have a new, permanent date for our Fair which will be the 1st Friday
through Sunday of the month of August. The Fair will be held at
it's permanent location at Camp Oakdale, located at 866 Rte. 163, Oakdale, CT.
MISS MONTVILLE The Miss Montville Scholarship Pageant will take
place on August 2, 2007.
It is with great pleasure that we announce that we have selected a special Master of Ceremonies this year for the Pageant. Bob Wilson, a Newscaster for WTNH Channel 8, will be joining us, sharing his special wit and humor with us all!
Applications are now available on line by clicking onto the star next to Miss Montville and can also be picked up at the MHS Guidance Office
This year's pageant is being sponsored by Rand Whitney Container Board, LLC and Eastern Federal Savings Bank of Norwich.

This year’s Fair will bring to our visitors many
changes.
The new parking lot will be ready and the area for
amusement rides has been expanded.
The Fair site will take on a whole new look with expansion of the property
to bring so much more to the Fair!
There will be so many
wonderful events
for the entire family to enjoy. Our newest addition is KIDZ ON THE GO, which is a fitness experience for the little
ones in your family. Picture Chucky Cheese with their crawling tubes
and the plastic balls on a smaller scale and you will know what this new
addition is all about. For further information regarding this exciting
addition go to www.kidzonthego.net. Rosie's Racing Pigs will be with us with free gifts for the little
ones and lots of excitement and laughs for the bigger "kids" in the family!
Montville Fair is pleased to
welcome Metrocast Communications who will have a Hospitality Booth at our
Fair this year. Please be sure to visit them as they are offering free fingerprint kits for parents to use to ensure even more ways to keep our children safe.
They will also have literature from the CT. Humane Society, daily schedules
for the Fair and extra location maps so that our Fairgoers will know where
everything is located along with other important info for you to view.
Because of the expansion of the
property this year, events such as the fabulous Flippenout Extreme Aerial Show, the EPW
Wrestling matches, the Lumber Jack
Exhibitions and the Mass Mini Tractor Pull
Competition will be down the road from the Main Fair Grounds, near
Scholfield Pond Parking lot area.
To save on any confusion, we
have named all the Fair areas now, each having their own number, such as AREA 1, AREA 2, etc all the way up to AREA 5.Maps will be
available at the INFORMATION BOOTH and
at the Metrocast Communications Hospitality Booth so that everyone will be
able to find their way around with no problems. And, because we don't
want our Fair goers to tire themselves out walking to all the new Venue
Areas, for the very first time, The Montville Fair inc is please to
announce the welcomed addition of Horse and Wagon
Transportation, available for the
entire family, free, to go back and forth between the given areas.
Transportation will be provided by Cedar Knoll Farms out of Lisbon. The
wagons will have steps leading to your very own seats. All you have to do

This year, we have added a THEME to our Fair which will be THE WONDER OF MAGIC! Every other entertainer on our STAGE 2 will have magic of some sort in the act with some of New England's best performing Magicians. We are exploding with nothing but quality shows and surprises! Our two stages will be constantly filled with the best, family orientated entertainment available. We have taken the liberty to put on our Home page just some of the wonderful magic acts that will be with us this year along with some of the new bands that will be joining us, including Montville's own CHASING TRINITY band.

entertainment that we have lined up for you as well. The new and "Flippenout" Aerial Tampoline Show has got to be one of the
most exciting EXTREME shows traveling the Fair Circuits this
year. Come and watch these extreme sportsmen show us all a new way to use
ski's and skateboards but PLEASEdo not attempt these actson your own. Equally entertaining will be
the EPW Wrestling
Match taking place on
Saturday evening. Be sure to come and cheer for your favorite Wrestler and
see who wins the match! Another
new addition this year will be the National Lumber
Jack Champions who will give us demonstrations both
Saturday and Sunday. Along with the skilled exhibitions, they will also be
making their famous little chairs out of large pieces of lumber with a chain saw
at each show. One lucky child in the audience will take one home after each
performance. Sit back and learn some moves to protect yourself with our Self
Defense Demo's, tap your feet to the Dancing School Performances, learn about the small animals and
exotic insects that the Wild Life Adventures and Birds On The Run will bring to our
stage or laugh along with the Ventriloquists and decide who
the real "dummy" is. No matter what is on the stage, or walking the grounds,
you will have SOLIDENTERTAINMENT that will please the entire family!
