HOLIDAYS
We open each spring about 2 weeks before Easter. Our shop is filled with fragrant lilies, cheerful tulips and daffodils. We start right away planting up our custom designed "garden" Easter Baskets - they make great gifts! And Farmer Joe makes sure that we have plenty of colorful pansies and violas to help chase away the winter blahs.

For Memorial Day, we offer a nice selection of planters along with an unbelievable selection of beautiful geraniums. Memorial Day does kick off the start of "Planting Season" and we're ready with lots and lots of annuals and perennials.
Halloween is always fun at Smith's Acres. We have tons of pumpkins in a variety of shapes and sizes. We grow thousands of mums, so you should be able to find just the right color for your fall decorating. And speaking of decorating, we have dried flowers, wreaths, cornstalks, hay, gourds, and lots of funky winter squash to decorate your doorstep with. In addition to mums, asters, and cabbages we have fall pansies and "Fall Magic" planters for a different look this fall.


Smith's Acres will have all your veggies needs for the big Turkey Day. Nothing's better than Farmer Joe's home-grown sweet potatoes. And you can order you Thanksgiving Pies here as well. Don't forget to bring a big Fruit Basket as a wonderful hostess gift!
Christmas is our favorite time of year. We start decorating wreaths at Thanksgiving and don't stop until the 23rd of December. Farmer Joe brings in fresh cut trees several times a week. Teri and the Veggie girls turn into Elves for Christmas and will custom decorate wreaths or swags for your door. We have beautiful Poinsettias of all sizes and colors to choose from. Be sure to stop in before you start your Holiday decorating.
